The Surfrider Foundation is an international organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches. The Ventura County Chapter recognizes that all things are connected and everything we do impacts our coastline. Since 1991, we have been working on integrated solutions to the problems that face our local coastal resources. To achieve these ends we are leading the following campaigns: Ocean Friendly Gardens (OFG), Rise Above Plastics (RAP), Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Project, Surfer’s Point Managed Shoreline Retreat.
